Nicole DeLia has owned and operated Creative Hearts Daycare since 2013, and has greatly enjoyed being able to serve children and families in the community. She has loved facilitating a variety of uplifting discussions for young children, along with sharing a variety of creative learning experiences for them. Prior to starting a daycare, she has had the opportunity of connecting with children in a variety of other settings, including several years of prior experience as a preschool teacher, nanny, private piano teacher, Spanish teacher, face painter, swimming instructor, and lifeguard.

Nicole earned a Master's of Science Degree in Child Development from San Diego State University in 2017, in addition to earning a graduate level Early Childhood-Transdisiplinary Education and Mental Health Certificate (EC-TEaMH). These programs have enhanced her knowledge of offering guidance with social and emotional skills to young children, which is of essential importance in setting the foundation to help prepare them for kindergarten. Nicole also earned a Bachelor Degree in Music in 2010, and enjoys being able to offer a special program which includes singing and dancing with piano and guitar music.

Creative Hearts Daycare has been blessed with many warm-hearted teachers. Ms. Angela is our current substitute teacher, and has been a wonderful addition to our team. She has earned a Bachelor Degree in Psychology with prior work experience as a behavior instructor for children of all ages. Ms. Stephy and Ms. Kendra have been additional substitute teachers since 2015 and the children are always so delighted to see them whenever they come to visit.
