Fun & Creative Learning Experiences

Our program offers a warm and nurturing environment, along with a  wide range of learning experiences that support growth and development for both infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children. Many of these activities are helpful in promoting language development, early academic skills, gross and fine motor skills, social skills, universal core values, and creative expression. Please see the descriptions below for further details regarding the variety of curricula we offer:

Story Time

  • We offer daily story time and lessons incorporating a wide range of educational themes and topics. We also incorporate a variety of seasonal and nature-based themes and art projects, developing an appreciation for plants, animals and the environment.

Artistic Enrichment

  • Our artistic enrichment projects include coloring, drawing, freestyle painting, gluing with various materials, stickers, and much more. Many times our art will also be accompanied by some type of ambient instrumental background music that can help to heighten creativity and focus.

Music &Movement

  • Our musical enrichment activities include learning songs with accompanied hand motions, singing with guitar, piano, and ukulele music, while also offering time for freestyle dancing with rainbow streamers and percussion instruments.

Early Academic Concepts

  • We incorporate activities that help to teach children the ABCs, numbers and counting, colors, shapes, science-based and mathematical concepts, and other early academic skills that can help to prepare young children for kindergarten.

Values & Social Skills

  • We share daily discussions or books at breakfast time discussing universal core values such as gratitude,  peaceful relations with others, love and kindness,  and so forth. We also incorporate learning activities that promote the development of important social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and being gentle.

Yoga & Mindfulness

  • Our program offers stretching and basic yoga poses with gentle music and creative mindfulness activities that can help promote calm and relaxation. These skills are especially helpful for children when they are going through challenging times. We also have a beautiful aquarium of fish for children to enjoy.

Sensory Experiences

  • Children enjoy cooking projects such as making muffins and additional sensory experiences such as using play-doh and other materials. We also use a variety of sensory materials while engaging in art projects as well.

Indoor Play

  • There are indoor activity centers throughout the house with materials for dramatic play, food and cooking toys, block building, puzzles, books, riding the rocking horses, playing inside the school bus, an activity room for yoga and dancing, and much more.

Outdoor Play

  • Our outdoor play time includes creating with chalk, bubbles, riding toys, ball play, climbing structures, playing inside the toy house, outdoor games,  along with outdoor picnics,  exploring with binoculars, hopscotch and so much more!
